2009年6月15日，受尽压迫的工伤工人刘汉黄用仅存的左手掌抓起水果刀，单手刺杀台商，致两死一伤。在刘汉黄老家众多乡亲，广东许多工厂工人联名，特别是台湾劳工界大力声援，以及工友和各界网友捐集给台商赔偿费求轻判的行动之后，11月2日东莞中院一审宣判刘汉黄死刑缓期两年执行。这意味着刘汉黄免予一死，但仍要面临不低于十四年的刑期。刘汉黄表示还要上诉。

区别于之前众多同类案件，刘汉黄得以轻判，有当局对两岸关系的考量与社会冲突隐忧等考虑因素，但更应承认两岸劳动人民的共同呼吁，在相当程度上促使刘汉黄得到轻判。对于刘汉黄及劳动人民来说这是一个小胜，但我们认为还很不够，应该要求无罪释放刘汉黄，并且保障包括刘汉黄的所有工伤劳动者的合法权益。... more
